These days, incorporating TVs into multi-functional rooms is the standard in most homes. Because of this, having a space dedicated to just the TV is more rare. And often in these instances, your TV area may even be in a smaller room or nook in your home.

If your dedicated TV space is already small, the last thing you want to do is add a chunky piece of furniture like a credenza or traditional media cabinet or TV stand that will make the room feel smaller.

Save the Space, Mount the TV on the Wall

The days of large clunky TVs are gone. Today, TVs are thinner and sleeker than ever. Take advantage of this slimmer look in a small room and mount your TV on the wall with a fixed position TV mount.

The fixed mount will allow you to get your TV as close to the wall as possible, keeping the space in the room open for seating.

When a Fixed Position TV Mount is the Best Option

If you already have a layout plan for the furniture in the room and there isn’t much flexibility in changing it, it’s unlikely you’ll ever need to move your TV. So, determine which wall you want your TV on and identify where eye-level is. Then, mount the TV using a fixed position mount and never worry about it again.

If your TV room is a space that doesn’t have a lot of windows, you won’t have to worry about glare or reflections affecting your viewing enjoyment. This is another instance where a fixed position mount is a great option. It’s clean, minimal, and easy to install.
